"Mommy, come"

"Mommy, come"

Written Apr 12, 2012 12:24pm by Heather Dalik
8:10 this morning, everyone else has left for work or school.  "Mommy, come, come, hurry Mommy"

"What is it Cora?  What do you need?"

"I want to kiss you."

After a rough start to the week, Cora has been the sweetest girl today.  Her clinic visit yesterday went well.  She even let Nancy look in her mouth, which she never does.  Cora's potassium levels are on the rise again but only rising to her high stable level, if that makes sense.  Her levels are high but they aren't increasing.  Nancy said we can wait until next Wednesday to have her blood drawn again.  Yeah!  For the first time in several weeks, we only had one clinic visit this week.

Flu season peak is over and coming down.  Another reason to celebrate - Nancy said we can start doing things here and there, with a mask on, in the stroller.  I hope to get Cora out for some fun this weekend.

Please continue to pray for our friends who are battling cancer.  Several of our best pals will be getting high doses of chemo this week.  Please pray that it is uneventful for them.

Be CORAgeous!
