The big rearrange!

This morning brought one sore throat, a few white spots, one green nose, one wheezing chest, two sick children and no Wisp respite trip. I called Lindsay to cancel our trip, on the verge of tears. What a ray of sunshine Lindsay is. She said "Well, everything works out for a reason. The family who was supposed to go next weekend, can't go. Can you go?" Yes! Yes! Yes!
It took me all morning to rearrange the kids, the dog, the schedule but it is done. We will celebrate our family next weekend instead. It actually works out for the best because Grace has a competition on Saturday and was going to have to miss the celebration at Six Flags. She gets to go that, I get to spend the afternoon at a special baby shower, Jeff will get to work on a sunny Saturday (which is the busiest day when the weather is nice) We will spend Mother's Day at home and have a special dinner with the whole family.
So, I say bring on the sickness. I am ready for it!! You know after all this rearranging, Andrew's throat will be better by the time he gets home from school, Cora will stop wheezing and not develop an infection and once again, illness will pass by our house without stopping. Let's pray for that anyway!
