Send good vibes!

Send good vibes!

Send some good vibes this way.  As we wind down another week, we are (again) packing for a weekend away.  Everyone has been well all week.  Now, Cora is coughing again and Andrew "just doesn't feel good".  Ugh!  We are going to Wisp, no matter what illness hits this house.  The weather is supposed to be perfect all weekend.  I have clipboards, binoculars packed for some nature observations.  I also packed a bunch of art supplies to make naturescapes (not really sure what that means but I thought we could make something out of the things we find on the ground)  The kids are super excited about outdoor art.

Clinic this week was long but uneventful.  Cora's levels continue to be high but stable.  Nancy passed on that several of her bmt's are being discharged this week so plan on long visits as she gets backed up.  You can imagine this thrills me!  We are celebrating Baby Jackson's discharge today.  They have officially moved from Hopkins to St. Casmir.  I get chills just thinking about it.  The first three days on my own were so scary.  We got one of Jackson's team shirts and Cora has worn it the last two days!

We also got to see Faith, who looks remarkable.  Please keep her in your prayers as she continues to recover.  One last surprise - Malky landed herself inpatient for a short visit and I didn't know it.  Cora got to see Malky through the glass of her room window.  The girls haven't seen each other in quite some time.  As predicted, Malky was the first person Cora talked about at dinner during "how was your day".  Cora adores her pal.

Tomorrow night the whole family will go to see Grace perform "Rockin America" with her show choir.  We have worked out a way for Cora to see the show - mask on, in the back of the room, out the door as soon as the show ends.  After that, we head to the mountains.

Be CORAgeous!
